  1.Submerged installation: The lead wire of the equipment is passed through    

the waterproof pipe, and the 3/4 thread on the top of the equipment is connected

with the 3/4 thread of the waterproof pipe with raw material tape.Make sure that

the top of the equipment and the equipment lines are free of water.

2. Pipe Installation: Connect to the pipe through the 3/4 thread of the device.

What is chloride ion? What impact does it have on water quality?
Chloride ions are common charged particles in water, mainly derived from table salt (sodium chloride), dissolved seawater, or industrial pollutants. When there are too many chloride ions in water, it will become salty and corrosive, which not only affects the taste but may also corrode pipelines; If excessive in natural water bodies, it may damage the living environment of aquatic organisms, such as causing an imbalance in osmotic pressure for fish.
 
 
Why measure chloride ions in water?
Chloride ion concentration is one of the important indicators for judging the quality of water:
Excessive chloride ions in drinking water may indicate contamination of the water source (such as industrial wastewater or seawater backflow);
Excessive chloride ions in industrial water can corrode equipment;
Abnormal chloride ions in natural water bodies may indicate ecological imbalance and require timely investigation of the cause.
 
 
How many chloride ions are considered 'excessive' in water?
Strictly speaking, there is no unified "limit value", but there are reference ranges for different scenarios:
Generally, water treatment plants control chloride ions below 250 milligrams per liter (not salty to drink);
The chloride ions in natural river water are usually below 100 milligrams per liter, and exceeding 500 milligrams per liter may cause discomfort to aquatic organisms;
If water becomes like "saltwater" (such as chloride ions exceeding 1000 milligrams per liter), it is basically not suitable for direct use.
 
 
Is there a safety standard for chloride ions in drinking water?
The limits recommended by the World Health Organization (WHO) and national health standards are as follows:
Safety limit: 250 milligrams per liter (equivalent to 0.25 grams of salt per liter of water, with a light taste);
Warning limit: 500 milligrams per liter (at this time, the salty taste of the water is obvious, and long-term consumption may have an impact on sensitive populations).
When the alert value is exceeded, it is necessary to check whether the water source is contaminated or if salt has penetrated.
